Kents Hill Australian Labradoodles Health Guarantee
The dog is guaranteed against kennel-incurred illness, is age-appropriately
vaccinated and dewormed, and is in good health and sound temperament
at the time of purchase. The Buyer shall have the dog examined by
a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of the time of purchase to
include a scan and record of the microchip. If the veterinarian finds
the dog to be unhealthy, it is to be returned to the Seller immediately
for a full refund.
The Buyer is strongly advised not to take the dog to public places
or where unvaccinated dogs are present (e.g., dog parks, pet stores,
along roadsides where other dogs are walked) until fully vaccinated
or at recommendation of Buyer's veterinarian.
The Seller further guarantees the dog to the age of 24 months
to be free of the following genetic health issues:
Hip
dysplasia that significantly compromises the dog's life as a companion
dog. The Buyer must provide Seller with proof of hip dysplasia in
the form of documentation from OFA or PennHip testing on or before
24 months of age. The hip dysplasia guarantee shall be null and void
if the dog is determined to have suffered serious injury or neglect;
has been 20% or more overweight; or exposed to intense exercise
(e.g., jogging, agility training) before the age of 18 months.
Congenital
defect of the eye causing blindness in both eyes and/or requiring
surgery or ongoing medication, as diagnosed by a veterinary ophthalmologist
on or before 24 months of age.
Blood
thyroid levels with require ongoing medication.
While the Seller has made every effort to prevent these diseases
from developing in the dog, no one can guarantee that they won't.
In the unfortunate event that the dog develops any of the aforementioned
defects, and upon receipt of written proof of diagnosis by a licensed
veterinarian, the Biuer shall be entitled to a refund of the purchase
price of the dog, less the $500.00 deposit, shipping and/or other
related costs. The following conditions apply:
The
Seller reserves the right to have the dog examined by a veterinarian
of the Seller's choice to confirm the diagnosis, at the Seller's
expense.
The
health guarantee is granted to the original Buyer only and is not
transferable to anyone else.
All
testing and examinations are the responsibility of the Buyer and
must include microchip scan and record.
In any case, the Seller's liability will never exceed the purchaasse
price of trhe dog, for any reason whatsoever.
Buyer's Agreement
Buyer agrees to maintain this dog in good health; provide routine
preventative health care including, but not limited to, innoculation,
internal and external parasites elimination and preventative medication;
provide obedience training; provide a safe living environment and
healthy diet. Veterinary records including microchip scan and record
must be provided to Seller if requesting refund or replacement.
If any of the above preventative care has not been provided, this
health guarantee will be void.
The Buyer agrees not to resell or otherwise dispose of the dog
without first offering the dog back to the Seller. The Seller agrees
to assist the Buyer in finding an appropriate home for the dog.
The Buyer assumes the risk of loss of injury after the puppy/dog
leaves the Seller.
Buyer shall indemnify and hold Seller harmless from injury to
anyone or damage to any property which may be caused directly or
indirectly by the dog.
Full and Final Contract Agreement
The Buyer and Seller agree that this contract represents the entire
agreement between them and that no other representations have been
made regarding the dog described above.
